I'm having trouble with the regulator wheel popping out of the holder for the window. Not sure what I need to do to fix that. I was able to get the window up so at least it's closed but would like to fix it. Any ideas?

Also what exactly do you mean by "the run", is the the little channel that the sides of the windows slide up through or something else?

Is there a link for replacing the run as it seems to be mentioned here several times.

Thanks for all the great info.

I'm having the same issue with both my rear windows, as I lower the Window, the little white wheel attached to the end of the regulator pops out of the end of the horizontally mounted track attached to the window, any Ideas gentleman?

The camry window motors are the same! Rear passenger fits front driver, and vice versa! Pick a part for $5!

Which model year Camry?

What about my rear windows? All these solutions are for fronts. Thanks for these great tips.

An old post, but thought it worth mentioning that toyota MkII MR2 (1989 to 1999) are almost identical, only the plastic plug for wiring connector is different, its easily changed over without any cutting if you pry the plastic tang out of the spade terminal inside the connector plug. Right hand MR2 fits left hand 80 series cruiser and visa versa.

How have the Amazon units been working out? For $100 for the pair that seems a little to good to be true....

I'm also wondering, as only one of my four windows functions. I PM'd Rhino and, as of March 2017, he says, "Work great so far! I love them".

Thats good news. I already original motors that I bought so I'm going to just roll with that for now. Good luck!

My drivers window goes up and down just fine but it's super loud. I took everything apart and I can't find anything that looks out of the ordinary. It seems when there is load on the motor it gets louder. Anyone ever gone with Dorman motors? Third of the cost of OE

My driver's window got stuck yesterday.
My passenger window struggles to go up... Motors from back door are working fine.

I just bought that kit from Amazon.
I will give a review as soon as I installed it.

I had this on my PS fr window. Pulled the door card, shot LPS-3 (quality thickening lube, like waxy chain lube for O/R quads/dirt bikes).

That & used a long screwdriver to apply sil-glide (Napa product, tube) in the runs, the spray made the main 'X' linkage quiet, the Sil-Glide made it slightly faster.

I suspect this is more unusual but when one of my rear windows kept getting stuck in a down position it turned out the plastic button was broken. The window would sometimes not go down at all and sometimes go down but not up, but then go up after trying for a while. When taking it apart the plastic pin under the window button was broken (part of the plastic was missing) so it didn't make proper contact. Replacing the button (which is relatively cheap) resolved the issue. As said I think the good explanations above about fixing motors and window runs are a much more common reason for problems, the button is just something to check just in case (and probably only relevant if the window gets stuck not for being slow).
