Parts source.

For those who buy parts from aussie ebay,I thought you might want to bookmark an alternative site.

"Search landcruiser on OZtion.com.au"

No connection ,but Ive used it a few times and its ok.Not as big as ebay but always good for a price comparison and to meet new dealers if you have to go overseas for parts

Hi Roscoe, thanks for the link. I wonder if you have heard of anyone making a hardened birf for a 79 series - like the chromoly type. They are different that the older 7X series and the 80 series - different spline that goes through the locking hub - and just a bigger birf than the older models. I'm running a couple of china specials now - so far so good and I have been beating on them - for 59$ each!

I am putting an ARB in the front diff in the next week or so and would like ot have some good birfs in it. Or, maybe I'll just buy a couple of chinese spares.

Any ideas?? I've been looking but can't seem to find anything. Thanks!

Louis

Louis ,if anyone has them or knows where to get them ,it would be Snake Racing.
The 79 series are only just beginning to be used in comps,so I would expect someone will be thinking about hardened birfs for them;)
There is a seller on ebay who swears by the the chinese made birfs. I should get some as spares.
