This meticulous example of a 1988 HJ61 Series Land Cruiser. This is a Japanese domestic Market model, with a 12HT 4.0 liter turbo diesel, a 5 speed manual transmission, cable locking front and rear differentials, and a power take-off (PTO) factory winch. Kept under wraps by it’s 1 fastidious owner in Japan, until we acquired it in 2023. It wearing it’s original paint job, Toyota Dark Gray (155), which is in superb condition, showing it’s luster and shine just as it did back when new. It’s hard to gather the words to describe the condition of this truck, has it truly has to be seen with ones own eyes to be fully appreciated. All exterior bits of trim, and rubber present supple and fresh with no deterioration. All body panels are straight and original, with no dents, dings, rust or damage. All glass is original Toyota. It wears an upgraded, wider set of 15 inch aftermarket Japanese alloy wheels which suit the truck well, wrapped in brand new Falken Wildpeak AT3 32×12.5 rubber. The interior features plush carpeting, soft factory “Turbo” Recaro made seats, and other features like a sunroof. All interior surfaces present like new, there are no strange smells, or smoker scents present. The original Toyota factory floor mats are in excellent condition as well. This truck seats 5, has AC, heat, and rear heat. A premium factory sound system, complete with the original Toyota head unti, AM/FM and Tape deck, all function as it should. The odometer reads just under 138,000km, which is approx 85,500 miles. These miles are believed to be original. This truck is ready for a collection, or to be whole-heartedly used and enjoyed.
