Pink vs. Red Antifreeze

I just tried to pick up a gallon of Toyota red antifreeze and was told by my local stealership that Toyota is no longer selling the red and that they are going to pink for everything. I read this thread- https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/96573-toyota-red-article.html?highlight=pink+antifreeze but there wasn't a consensus on the new pink stuff. Does anyone know if this stuff is ok for the 80s with OEM radiators?

Pink is for newer Toyota's. You want Red. I would contact another dealer.

The red is undiluted version of the antifreeze. I think it runs about $27 a gallon at the dealer, then you can a gallon of distilled water to make it 2 gallons.

My local dealer was telling me the same thing, but said pink and red where compatible.

the red is still avaliable its also avalible at carquest i believe it even says toyota on the jug and waaaaay cheaper than the dealer

I can reassure you that Toyota still carries them, I just bought 2 gallons from them the other day. x2 on carquest, they have it on my last visit.
