Stubborn pilot bearing. Tried the other hack methods with no success, and don’t want to spend on a bearing puller.

$5 in parts that you probably already have, and 10 minutes of grinding. Worked great, first time.

5/16 ish carriage bolt. Grind the head into a hook so that it just fits through the inner race. Add the flat washer(s) and nut.

Smashing bread into there and hitting it with a bolt works remarkably well to push the pilot bearing right out.

I prefer a good fresh bagel. Wonder bread is also surprisingly good.
