You are so mean.

Saw some cool ass swine today. The 1968 is truly unreal. Look at the steering wheel and fender Blinkers

That steering wheel is so cool.

@Bossman s 69 that he seems to be storing at my place has that same steering wheel. It was the first one that I'd seen like that.

Lou helped me bleed the clutch system out last week and it just lost pressure after driving it.

I ordered some Aisin stuff from Amazon and used a clutch hose I had from @beno

Clutch is nice and tight. Slips a little when I do a full clutch dump. Likely the original clutch with only 97,000 miles. Hope it lasts a while. The 4 clutch jobs I did in 2017 are enough to last me a while

Also installed a new @Racer65 fuse box. I got the OEM cleaned up last week but a slight jiggle of the fuse and it would short out. New is mo betta

New carb, fuel, fuel filter, 8qt of oil and a fresh battery and it runs! ....but wont idle :/ Thinking maybe intake leak cause i get a lil rpm spike floating some propane around. All this with the caveat its also sporting a 100$ chinacarb without a choke cable stop provision yet.

Hmmm. Nope, decent place to start. Thanks

Its a desmogged/non us application carb so ive had to pull and plug the vacuum lines but need to do a little more reading on proper desmog.

Save your nickels and get a $300 City Racer carb of you plan on keeping.

As for gaskets I’ve gone to making my own out of remflex gasket material. Kills those pesky vacuum leaks.

What year is yours?

The only vacuum should be dizzy to carb. Brake booster. Vacuum to charcoal canister.

That’s it. Plug the rest.

@wngrog back up a liiiiitle more and take another pic :hillbilly:

I dig the pig and admit I'd have repainted the whole thing but have come around to like Patina.

Where are you stopping with this one?

Paint is finished for now.

Sliders.

Getting front door springs rebuilt.

KM2s from the 60.

Install new shackles and bushings.

I think that’s the list.
