Same Bat time, Same Bat channel.

I am planning on being there as well

Come prepared to sign up to host ROTMs!

Meeting summary:

We had a good turnout for this meeting, there were about 7-9 trucks.
We have between $5000-$6000 in the club's bank account, I should have written the exact amount down.
There were no new members at the meeting.
We discussed the December ROTM at Bull Dog Canyon that @TheGrrrrr lead. It was great and relaxing run. Thank you @TheGrrrrr for leading.
@Saddletramp volunteered for March ROTM and @TheGrrrrr will lead another ROTM for either February or April.
If you lead a ROTM, the club will give you a fancy snazzy patch for your collection that cannot be obtain anywhere else!!! A great incentive for those looking to lead a ROTM.
@LongDuck talked about Ham radio certification, if you're looking at getting your license, he can help you out.
The club will try to coordinate a clean up at Mt. Ord sometime before summer with TRAL. @Rudster will contact a representative at TRAL to get some additional information.

See you all at the next meeting!!!

I'll have the April ROTM posted up this week. I am also looking at doing a meetup at The Rolls "playground area" in February, not so much a run but maybe a "getting acquainted with your vehicle and its capabilities" for folks that are either new to off-roading or just want a low-risk supportive environment to try different things.

Maybe someone with a lot more recovery experience than I have could demonstrate winch/recovery rope use etc. Just a thought.

I spoke with @richardlillard1 regarding an inspection of the section of Mt Ord that CSC adopted. Basically if the club wants to do an inspection just report the findings, general condition and take photos and let @richardlillard1 or @inkpot now the results. If you want a TRAL members to participate just let them know, set a date and then should be good to go.

Mark, thank you for the update.
Looks like we need to do a discovery run and then schedule a bigger cleanup, if needed.
I am not a huge football fan and could possibly go out on 2/13, if anyone else wanted to go (weather depending).
