Cool, congrats! Everybody wins!! :D

Good work Marshall. You won't have ANY problems getting rid of the last 2 37's at that price.

It was too good to pass up especially with Troll wanting the 35's. Now for 17's that will fit. 3 1/2 Backspacing seems impossible unless custom made. I wonder if 4 1/2 would work. Any one have experience with 17 x 9's with 4 1/2" BS?

Alan - I'm totally stoked for you. I think you'd be lucky to get 4" to work on the front with spacers, much less 4.5"

Mike is running a set of the 17" bling bling beadlocks with wheelspacers on his 40. Have Jim give you his telephone number and give him a ring to see how much he has in them - sit down first. It's astronomical.

Another option is to have Stazworks build you a set of double beadlocks. Probably cost you just over $1,000 plus shipping and maybe a bit more for the rock rings. Downside is they're heavier and a bit of a pain to install until you get a routine down. Upside - once I got the bugs worked out they were bulletproof. Just realized this would be more expensive than the tires - dang that is a hellova deal...

Check Marshall's other post on the 40 list - somebody mentioned something about custom steelies - this might be cheapest.

If I had the cash I'd run the same setup as Mike.

Good luck.

there was a guy on mud selling some of the MT 2 lookalikes in 17" not long ago, but think they sold. They were $200 I think. But they didnt have a BL, which I am sure you are wanting.

If you just want some rims, there are some GX470 rims on yota tech for about $400? http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=77028 don't know the back spacing but shouldn't be too hard to find out. 4 1/2 is the back spacing on 80 series so if someone would let ya try their spare, it would give ya a good idea.

Thanks everyone. Even if I have to pay more for the wheels than tires I'm still ahead. So no complaining here. I will try the links suggested and see how it all shakes out. Barry will still ask why I don't get some "BIG" tires!! Love that guy!

Spoken like one of Bonehead Barry's Band of Scoundrals, Infidels and Neur'
"Do" Wells.

Arghhhhhh........

Bwuahahahaha! Thats funny. Pop and I stopped by Barry's shop last Sat. morning. Ugly Boy had new 44's that just plain looked huuuuuge! I mean big balloons - have to wonder if it doesn't float. Then he had new 35" or so tires on the infamous red 80 that I think everyone but me has owned at some point and time. That man loves tires - makes you wonder :D
