Want to come back to this topic with two questions since I am facing the same issues:

1. Is there an FSM for fender removal or other body panels? I have the engine, chassis, etc., but haven't seen one for that type of work.
2. I saw in other threads there is talk of fishing a wire through a drain that can become clogged? Not sure where to find this and attempt it before I take my whole passenger side fender off to inspect behind it.

Take the chrome/plastic louver(there is a actual name for it that escapes me) off, and you should see a black plastic tube toward the door, on either side , with a slight kink to it, held in place by a flexible metal tab. Take it out, and the metal connector at the top of the tube is what can get clogged.

I need to do this exact same thing. I get water on both sides front floor boards. Appreciate all the pics and folks knowledge here very much.

Same here. I had no idea I had a leak until I started removing the interior for my build. I pulled up all the carpeting while stripping the interior and sure enough, the jute mat at both front floorboards was wet, and it was at least 4-5 days since I washed the cruiser before parking it in the garage. Item number 498345 to take care of on my build.
