I was at a junk yard a yesterday and found a 60.The drive train is gone but it still has most of the interior and its in pretty good shape.The seats are that yellow and brown color and look pretty nice other than a rip in the drivers seat,the carpet looks good too.The body is that dark root beer color and looks like a couple of the doors would be great for a swap, the left rear quarter looks solid as well.Left tail light lense is still on it.I didn't look to underneath for rust(sorry didn't think about it) but it dosn't seem bad at all.The steering box is in it.The springs look to be stock.All glass but driver door is good though some of it is tinted.The gage cluster is still in it.I don't know if they still have any of the drive train or not,it was not on the truck but I think they have a storage building.
I didn't have a camera with me but if you want some picts they are only about 5 miles away from my house and could run back out there.

I need the body panel that spans the front of the truck underneath the grill and headlight assemblies. I believe it's called the valence panel. Mine is rusted and dented. My headlight washers are fine so I wouldn't need those. A picture would be great. Thanks man!
 
How did the roof look? Mine is a little, well, rough.

Ooooh oooh oooh... yes (kid raising hand all excited) me me me...

silly as it is, I REALLY need a rear panel marker lamp cover. The red rectagle one on the rear quarter panel (either side is fine, they are the same) near the "Land Cruiser" logo. Two phillips screws and thats it.

If you could per chance snag me one (or both if they are there), shove it in your pocket (hehehehe) and send them to me I would make it worth your while!!! Thanks!

I can use tail light covers too, mine are chipped. And a passenger side mirror if it's got one. Thanks!

I have a mirror you can have for the price of shipping. The small black original or a 62 style metal one. Take your pick.
 
I finally am able to post my internet has been blinking more than the neighbors christmas lights, pretty much all all day.......Ok peep this.I went to the place and this is what I found out.
None of the drive train left.Not on the shelves not anywhere there.The upper hatch is in good shape a couple of small dings and the latch seems to need some work,maybe you could use the guts out of an old on or it might just need some lube.I took off the inside cover to inspect for corrosion and it looked really good.Glass is nice too.However I almost dropped a deuce in my trousers when he said $500 bucks.Yikes! That sounds steep.He said everywhere else is wants $750-$800.I was so shocked that I forgot to tell him about the 2 small dings and latch issue.The lower tailgate is showing some pretty serious signs of corrosion(ie rusted through).Carpet -he said $100 for all of it.That sounded good to me and I do need the back piece as the P/O took it out to keep it clean and then it somehow disappeared into that dark hole some people call a garage,hopefully to return again someday.I'm not holding my breath though.To bad the junk yard interior is brown,not gray like mine.The seats looked good a small tear in the passengers front towards the top and a medium sized tear on the drivers seat bottom cushion.He said $75 for each front seat $125 for the back or $250 for all of them.I didn't find any major tears or stains in the seats but they all look like they could use a cleaning.Somebody could pick up a pretty nice interior for their cruiser for around 350 bucks!Maybe a bit more if they needed the door panels too. The roof looked good but he said it's hard to give a price unless somebody is there and ready(???) then he said he would cut a deal if everybody got all the parts at once.I wish I would have known you needed a roof.I just got rid of a stripped and trashed 60 but I think the roof is still good.I would have just gave it to you.Give Lance or Cam a call over at Iron Pig a call (540-361-7400) or send him a PM on MUD(screen name IPOR).They just picked up the truck this morning and took it to the shop for the drive train.He would probably part with the roof for a fair price. OK back to the junk yard stuff.I didn't check the radio mounts,the dash is money though just a very small crack where it curves up maybe 2- 3 inches.I didn't see the last couple of posts before I left.Sorry dudes The drivers tail lens is there and the driver mirror as well.May be they fit both sides?.The markers are gone.One is on my truck.:doh: One of the amber ones is still good but the mount is shot.I don't think the truck is going anywhere they just moved it to the back of the yard.It's sitting by a great big van that has a huge GE logo on it that can be spotted all the way across the yard.I also saw a 85 4x4 mini truck,solid front(along with a bunch of 2bys) with a literally rusted through frame but the drive train is still there.Just in case any of you guys need some mini stuff.I think that just about covers it.Hope that helps.The place is open 8-5 Mon to Fri,9-3 Sat,10-2 Sun.I'm leaving the state and moving to Wyoming on monday and I don't really need anything off of it,but maybe everyone could get together and get a fair deal on some parts.If any body needs me to run out there and pull some stuff let me know.I could probably only do it tomorrow,as I'm packing up the house and such.

Too bad on the tailgate, but what're you gonna do, and to far to drive for a mirror. Thanks for running out there and taking the time to look, though. Appreciate that.
