Part time kit...pros-cons ??

Sorry to open an old thread but doing the “poor man’s part time conversion” by adding free wheeling hubs to the front and driving round with the center diff lock in, will the center diff lock be strong enough to handle all that force always applied to only one of its outputs? Just stuffed my crown wheel and pinion and can’t rebuild my diff for 2 months so I’ve taken the front drive shaft out and put some free wheeling hubs in. I’m wanting to take it on a big 1000km off road trip nothing to hard but will be putting some strain on that rear axle.
