22RE Idler pulley replacement bearing.

Timken part# 204PP

odd the OE bearing # is a NSK 6204

which at NAPA does not cross to thier #

so this timken bearing number crosses to a SKF 62042RSJ

Odd huh? thier number is similar to the OE number

also, that (2) in the SKF P/N designates the two sided seal. with out that 2 in the P/N its a single sided sealed bearing

This thread seems a little superfluous thanks to this site: ToyoDIY.com

Thanks, I'll take that as a thumbs up for posting it. :D IMHO it's not superflous in the least. I just figured we could also use the link. Keep posting stuff in here should for any reason the site go into failure and you need something then and there.

Duplication is never unnecessary, it's called foresight. :D

OK, my idler is squeeling now. Can anybody confirm this number? Both the toydiy website and my EPC say this part number doesn't exist.

1st Toyota parts has it, must be good.

I got nuthin' near me. I'll give that part number a try at the closest dealer, see what I get. I know the bearing in there now came from NAPA, it didn't seem to last very long.

Just confirming this part number is correct, it fit perfectly on my '87 (finally got it installed yesterday).

Edit: Crap. Didn't help. I think the alternator belt was loose.

Not really tech but I figure this can go in here anyhow.

Factory Carpeted Floormats, picked them up today. Newer part number and the last two signify the color of the set.

I'll have to pull up the part numbers I got for the body mounts, but here are the numbers for the little plastic hole covers that cut down the road noise and creaks from the body mounts:

90950‑01234 Rearward 4Runner Floor Cab Body Mount Hole Covers
90950‑01086 Forward 4Runner Floor Cab Body Mount Hole Covers

New numbers are good and live.

:D Glad to help Onur. :steer: Out of curiosity, what do they spec for these days? In other words, like the HD Coil Spring trick, are they for a FJ-C or something or just still 2nd-Gen 4Runner-SURF?
