What is this part's name?
Can I still obtain one!?
Is it anything more than just an adapter?!
It’s on the engine harness near the battery on an fj-40 and fj-60!

That's your main engine fuse system, called a fusible link. It's what protects your truck from burning to the ground in the event of an electrical failure. When they fail, they burn up and are no longer usable - you need to get a whole new one or track down parts to rebuild them. They are discontinued from Toyota and what's left is used parts of varying quality. Like I said, they can be properly rebuilt, but then you're back to square one with a fusible link that needs rebuilt yet again if it ever fails. And if you want to carry a backup in the truck then double your time and money making two good ones.

That's why I created the fusible link replacement kit. You're not chained to using fusible links anymore after you install the kit. It uses MIDI style fuses that you can pick up them up at most any auto parts store. Or you can easily order some spares and chuck them in the glove box. The kit is 100% plug & play.

More info here if you're interested.
