Paint or not to paint

Well I got bored at work and killed the last half hour making a new grill for the snorkle. . Been rubbed up against some trees and wasnt much left of the grill..
So welded up some stainless and electro polished it.. thinking about painting it.. thoughts..

I think I'd go flat black so it blends in a little better. Thats just me tho.

Paint will just get rubbed off. I'd leave as is.

Still on the fence.. I will leave it for now.. until I get motivated..

Paint it, then it will look cool when its all scratched.
