Overhead console ambient lighting...

I swapped a similar console into a 2001 LC, mostly for the multiple homelink buttons - I jumped power from somewhere in the sunroof. I couldn't get the ambient LED lighting to ever turn on, if either of you have a clue to the wiring involved please let me know. The lighting was way less important to me, but would be nice to have nonetheless.

There's nothing up there that switches with the headlights in the LC so makes sense it's not loomed into the existing harness.

If you had a LX and just wanted to add another ambient light, could you splice into the existing line?

What about the homelink backlights? I noticed those only turn on with the headlights. They're possibly on the dimmer as well. I was hoping there was a clear way to tap into that line but I couldn't find a wiring diagram.
