Original factory under-arch colour (2 Viewers)

Body-off restoration of a 1989 BJ60 in Toyota white 048.

Can anyone tell me what the original factory colour was under the wheel arches?

The factory underbody finish on mine is a neutral grey. The rubberised stonechip is a white compound.

Were the arches left in unpainted stonechip? Or also grey? Or were they sprayed matt black?

On USA FJ60, the underside color of the wheel arches from the factory was the same color as the vehicle.
