96 fzj80 this is a k294 truck with factory lockers. Bought this truck for the wife with the intention to sell the 5th gen 4Runner and have her drive this but after fixing the motor and her driving she doesn’t want a 25+ year old truck (big surprise). So this is a third owner vehicle last owner had it 20+ years driving it in the city around town. Never seen a dirt road. She blew the head gasket in town and had it towed home. I have a clean title in my name. I pulled the head and had it rebuilt by a shop they did a 3 way valve grind decked the head .020 thousand for smoothness. No warping. Block was in spec. Did the upper oil pan seal and new timing chain, dampener, slipper and sprockets. Newer radiator. Almost all rubber was replaced in rebuild along with a new water pump. Starter and alternator where replaced recently with oem parts. I am rebuilding knuckles with all new fluids in T case and differentials once parts come in this week. Cruiser outfitters kit with koyo bearings. Also doing a front end suspension refresh with 555 tie rod components. Truck is very nice on the exterior paint is shiny and bright no clear coat peeling. One dent on driver side rear quarter on the bottom quarter above the bumper see picture. Interior is normal wear and tear. Driver seat gears just replaced with gamviti. Leather is worn but seat covers make it look new. This is a rust free truck and just passed Oregon DEQ (smog). Let me know if you want to see something specific. Thanks Wes

The diff lock was never used so I had to take apart the actuator and clean. Hazard switch was added for CDL in high gear. Now cdl engages and front and rear diff locks Engage she as they should.

I have a super clean 94 that will be getting a new motor over the next month! Let me know. PM if interested.

such a nice truck. Amazing folks paid $4280 extra for an interior that falls apart so badly. 90s cloth in Toyotas still looks great 30 years later
Ya but $825.00 for locking front & rear differentials was a smoking deal 😉

And I’m sure 30 years ago people were not concerned about what the leather would look like in 30 years🤷‍♂️

So got a 0401/0420 code after pulling the VSV and testing. And testing EGR valve function. I found the y pipe had a significant leak. After pulling the exhaust found the 2nd cat is smoked. So new magnaflow y pipe and 2nd cat exhaust is going on. Also knuckles are getting rebuilt with new seals and koyo bearings and races.
