I love EVs but I couldn't buy it just from the looks. IMHO I'd rather have a Rivian or Hummer EV but im not spending that coin on a car anyway so I'm not their target. I will most likely be buying a used Model S when the economy improves though.Anyone see the cybertruck ads from tesla? I'm not a big electric car guy, but will say the numbers and tasks it pulled off looked really cool!
Wow! You're on the money about it being crazy money for sure! I wonder if there's a way to confirm the sale closed f(buyer paid)? As much as I love the 80 series aesthestic and capability, it's weird how a vehicle that's 25 yrs old sold for sticker price when even using the official Inflation Calculator | Find US Dollar's Value From 1913-2023 - https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/ shows that today the same sticker would cost approx $99300. Makes me think I got my 2021 for a "steal."I’m sure some of you guys saw this but I didn’t see anyone post about it.
This 80 series sold for $51,980. That’s $80 more than the sticker price when new.
I mean, good for the seller and you probably won’t find a better example outside of a museum. But dang, that’s crazy money.

Thanks for the reply. Mine is rusting out and needs to many things for me to rely on it completely. I am looking at 2 grand in parts alone . We have been throwing parts at it every year now for over 5 years keeping it going.Mine is a 2005 Trane gas heater/ heat pump. The downstairs unit is located in the crawlspace and did the same thing two years ago. I took down what part numbers I could read, found the parts online, and replaced everything including the main circuit boards. I found a part number update list on the Trane site that showed the old part numbers with the new replacement parts. It cost me about $600 at the end of it all but still working great after two years.
Reasoning ?goodman should be avoided.
