Cool. Thanks! Been starting to tinker around with bikes again.

Working on a Peugot BMX and a Proline Freestyle.

Anyone know where I can source a new Titus Racer X 29er frame, size Large, for a screaming deal? :hhmm:

www.speedgoat.com dang knowledgeable
www.cambriabike.com good deals
www.universalcycles.com good deals

www.webcyclery.com esoteric, SS, fixie, 29er, trials, cross, etc.

I would not use cambriabike, they have ongoing issues.

Whatever you do, don't buy anything from beyondbikes.com unless you want to get screwed.

For a Titus Racer X, go to Chad at Redbarnbicycles.com. Chad is a good guy and has excellent prices and serves.

Personally, if you want a FS 29er, I would skip Titus. IMHO, the company is not he same since Charles (it's founder) left/was pushed out. This is coming from a guy that has two Titus bikes hanging in the garage. I would suggest you take a look at the Turner Sultan or Ventana 29er, both of which are excellent bikes. Talk to Larry at Mountainhighcyclery.com for Turner and Ventana Stuff.

Well noted, actually. Awhile ago, their site was hacked and I believe tried to pass me a virus.

Thanks for info. I have a 26er Titus Racer X100 already (that I want to sell due to wheel size) and know the 29er version is based on the Chris Cocalis/Speedgoat designed Asylum 29er. I was looking that way based on handling attributes of the bikes the Racer X 29er is based on. I'll check out the others, too, though. I know both Turner and Ventana are awesome bikes.
