I recently purchased some "Olive Brown" from NAPA, that I used Cool Cruisers color code for , and when my 78 fj40 was sprayed, it came out to the most god awful color imaginable. It wasn't even close. Anyone have any idea why??

I concur . White primer under a color, will give you a cleaner, sharper brighter finish, whereas a gray primer will give you a "dirtier" finish.The color of the primer so so important on some colors. As already said respray
