Thanks for the tips. We tried to get tickets through the Ole Miss alumni association and the UM foundation and failed on both counts. Nothing was available here through the U of Texas either. We considered driving to Oxford and trying to buy scalper tickets but decided that was a high risk crapshoot.

Depending on the game, i may have access to a couple of tickets. My dad gets a bunch and if he doesn't need them all, he gets rid of them on the Spirit Board (must be Ole Miss fans though)

Yes I did Leo. Bill and i are the same age. In fact, I think I had the pleasure of watching Bill and James fight in your front yard.

Hahaha, Holy s***e, That was an awesome fight. Actually it was Bill vs Kelly Lomax. They were fighting over some chick. James and I would break them up, send them to their corners, and then ring the bell again. 5 rounds I think.

That's right. My memory isn't what it used to be. Too funny! Are you still living in the same place? Seems like I remember it being close to the old Oliver Britt B&B?

No, not there anymore. We moved to Gulfport in 2001 and then back to Oxford after Katrina. Now we are over by Avent Park.

Will do. Don't think I will be back till the Vandy game. Slight chance I might be back up for A&M though. Auburn weekend I am going to my first SCC. Will let you know.

Will see what I can do. I may be stuck in Oklahoma City that weekend but I'm gonna try and break away.

Full disclosure: My Mom, all my aunts and uncles, and several cousins are Ole Miss grads. I was the black sheep. Went to Texas A&M. Must have been a military thing. I dunno. :hhmm:

^ Agree. I was excited the whole game just because our quarterbacks didn't throw back-to back-to back interceptions. We could have won that game but I'm still happy. 2ndary looked SO much better and the freaking turn overs and D line were on point.

Of course the real winner was the 8 coolers of alcohol, 3 tables of food, and the fact I didn't get wet while hanging out with my bride in the Grove!!!!
 
I hope we come out pissed off this weekend and bring a good old fashioned ass beating to Auburn.

Auburn is definitely beatable this year. No shame in a last minute loss to the Aggies. They came within 3 points of beating #4 Florida. That's their only loss, so far.
