Anyone going to Oxford for the game? Nolen, Lash, SHUSH? Anyone? Wanted to know whether to look for you in the stands?

I got the Drill.....it's a recurring problem:rolleyes:

my father in laws tent will be a rockin....if you have no place to sip IPAs while enjoying the flora and fauna of the Grove let me know and ill see what I can do.

We're back in Austin. We wanted to go but unfortunately weren't able to score tickets. Apparently the game has been sold out for almost a year. Too bad because I was looking forward to hangin' out in the Grove.

I'll look for you on TV. Aren't you the wild man who paints UM on your chest?

Ah, sad....My father in law had 2 extra tickets (and ive told him all about your adventures)

ive been trying to get him into a 40...he loved mine and almost bought it from me before Mardis did. (yes im regretting it)

I will not be on tv I will be in uniform doing drill duty unfortunately. I was never a crazed fan in my college days....I was more focused on......other things:princess::beer:

if you decided you will be around for a home game hit me up...I often hear about or have extra tickets and we have a GREAT tent with interesting people and lots of food.

Well crap, I shoulda asked here. Hope to make one game in Oxford before the season is over. Need to go there anyway to check on the status of our family scholarships.

Yes, find your FIL a 40. He'll be thanking you for years to come. Here's one he should consider...

There was a MUD guy from east Tennesse here this week for a nuclear engineering conference. We introduced him to craft brews and FJ40's. By the time he boarded his plane yesterday, he said he'd decided that he "had to have a 40." They are addictive, even when they don't run. :frown:

send me a pm next time you want to go to a game. He has 4 season tickets and goes to half the games.

He has backed off the 40 hunt, unfortunately his wife has them house shopping. Atleast he drives a 4runner:meh:

I would think anyone that WALCs gets a hold of would pretty much drink the cruiser cool aid and ask for more!! pretty cool.

Thanks. If the timing works out, I'll probably be taking you up on the ticket offer.

Tuesday--WALCS welcome meeting for the innocent young MUD'er from TN. I'm pretty sure we corrupted him. :hillbilly:

let me know a week out on tickets.

love that pic of your glasses...except...shouldn't they have beer in them?

they appear to be arranged from light weight to motor oil as well!

I am planning on heading up this afternoon. I would have thought you would have been able to find tickets the day of the game.

For future reference, you can go to the Ole Miss Spirit board. One of their forums is entitled Gameday and is open to the public. Tickets for sale are posted in that section.

Hopefully you will make it up to oxford before the season is over...

^ you dont have tickets do you?

Thanks for the tips. We tried to get tickets through the Ole Miss alumni association and the UM foundation and failed on both counts. Nothing was available here through the U of Texas either. We considered driving to Oxford and trying to buy scalper tickets but decided that was a high risk crapshoot.

Will try SHUSH and your suggestions next time. Hope to see at least one game this season.

I always know people that put them up on Facebook before the game, face value. They will start getting "free" as the hammer starts falling when the SEC West games start LOL

Tulane will be the game to go to :D

Not going this weekend, but my 15 yo son will be there with his girlfriend and her family. He can't wait.

If any of you guys want to come up for a game, I setup in the Circle with plenty of food and drinks. We are really easy to find as opposed to being buried in the Grove with thousands of people. And we're a family friendly tent, lots of kids. I'll be there every game this year except Auburn (I'll be with most of y'all at the Crawl).

I don't get season tickets, but I seem to always find free ones just before the game.

I may try to make the Texas A&M game on 10/6. If that works out I'll be taking advantage of your generous tailgate and ticket offers.

Aggie fans are almost as fanatical as Texas fans. I wonder if that game will draw the same size crowd. It should, after Old Miss spanks Tulane...and Bama.

Hell yeah, Hotty Toddy. Just hit me up before you head this way and I'll give you directions.
