Nice.

Found an old truck in a field, will need to go back in the spring to see if dude wants to get it out of his yard ;) :hillbilly:

Not an LC, but old and neglected. Looks like former plow truck. Series II? Land Rover. Photographed on Broadwater Road, Robson, B.C. this past Easter Weekend.

Did some research and the license plate is pre-1978 commercial truck...been parked for a long time.

Nice Rob,

I thought rovers we all aluminum, looks like that one has quite a bit of rust.

On another note, the application for Old School Off Road to adopt the tumbler trail has hit a bit of a snag, as the government would like us to become a registered non-profit society, so looking into this now, but will probably take a bit of time to get sorted.

Cheers,
Deny

High society, you're starting to get quite sophisticated....when you're packing for you next expedition don't for get the grey poupon!

Just thought I would update this, we got accepted like a society and the process of adopting the Tumbler trail is back on the go, hopefully find out soon if they aproved us or not.
Cheers,
Deny

Thanks for working on that Deny, I hope to make it up there one of these days!

No Problem, once I get any word on the trail, I will send another email out with all the documents for everyone in Old School Off Road to have a copy.

Also anyone have any input on more stickers, would anyone want some, we had done a run on the large windshield stickers, and a couple smaller windshield ones for the old school small bronco and the 40 series little windshields, but are all out. Adam will need a couple smaller ones so we will probably be making some more, and thinking of some smaller put anywhere stickers for those that don't feel like screeming old school off road on the windshield, and really to tell you the truth, I never liked the windshield stickers and always thought they were poser stickers (and still won't put it on my blue 42), but somehow I don't have a problem with old school off road plastered on the front of my wheeling truck, sort of proud to be old school :hillbilly:, and will probably plaster it on my troopie I will be building next for wheeling.

I'd like a few smaller windshield stickers. I keep extras of stickers so when I restore or buy another LC (like a 55), then I'll have extras ready to go!

Ok, I'll let Adam know when he makes the next order, might not be right away, but will be in the next year or so for sure;)

I think the rusty rig Rob posted up is a Patrol?

And I'm hidden away in my 45, third from the front, in the line up on the road. Russels blue 40 in the front. That was from Saltspring circa '00.

yup that saltspring run was my first run with the CC back in '01 I think. :hillbilly:

Where in salt spring is their a run? I have family on the island and besides the road up to mount maxwell didn't think their were really any trails.

They don't have the run anymore, but I am not sure where we went, it's been over 12 years when I was there, but it was up some logging road where we drove.
Cheers,
