So plan is to start working on rusty this winter and I bought new batteries this spring. While Aaron and Kim were up here packing up the mine truck we decided to throw the batteries in and see how it would start after sitting for over 10 years. Well first crank and it fired right up. The clutch slave is seized but still got it going starting in gear after we pulled it out of the ruts it was in with the minihoe. Anyway hoping to turn this into my ultimate wheeling truck so I can retire the mall wagon

Just one 40 in pieces for parts, unless you mean the green 40 Dan built with the 3b from a bj60? otherwise only have two bj42's (3 if you count the green one) the mall wagon and a couple bj60 parts trucks.

Old blue is my very first cruiser and is a BJ42.

you bet, I am going to get buryed in that thing when I die , had it since I was 19, and lots of good memories in it. Although I do have the axles borrowed to the green truck at the moment, but in a year or two hoping to swap them back.

Christmas time in July for old rusty! Spent a lot of money, but I’ll try to keep it mostly a budget build from now on seeing what I’m starting with. Anyway got the clutch slave in there and I can now start and shift through all the gears as I drove it around the property. As soon as I figure out how to get the green truck to stop leaking out of the fill plug rusty is going to get allocated shop time

Curious as to who you rely on for online shopping? Just popped into my head. Don't recognize the
Aisin boxes. Those new birf's for a 40?

I usually get parts shipped from 4wheel auto where I got these clutch parts and locker, but also get parts from EBi. The longfields and high steer stuff came from Trail gear.
