I got the Bison Gear Drop Down Tailgate Table installed on my GX and it is awesome! I am loving this upgrade and the functionality it adds to the rear cargo area. Check out the video below.

Thanks again for the video and the information on the table and the rear shelf. I was able to find someone else to share the shipping charges with me, so I ordered the ceiling shelf and the large drop-down table. It ships via FedEx International, and my order was in transit within a couple days of placing the order. It's supposed to arrive next week. Looking forward to joining the rear-table club.

For installation, after doing it I thought of this idea that may be helpful. In the folded position get the table lined up just like you want (not covering your tool kit like I did), then put some double sided tape on the back side of the portion with the holes (circled in red) to put bolts in to hold everything in place so when you open the table to drill the holes nothing moves. Just an idea! Hopefully that makes sense.

That’s a good tip…I ordered the larger table so I should be able to align the curves in the bracket with the curves in the panel and not block the tool kit opening.

Currently, FedEx has my shipment on operational delay in Germany at their distribution facility. I hope the delay is resolved quickly but reading bad stories on FedEx delays.

I think the drop down table and ceiling shelf are going to miss my trip to Baja. I leave this weekend.

Update: my bison gear showed up at my door step in exactly a week from when I ordered. Installed the ceiling shelf and drop down table in a couple of hours. Baja here I come.

And I used the double sided tape idea to hold the brackets in place. They move when you unfold the table so you need to hold them in place to drill the holes in the right place. My double sided tape was weak and it don’t work on one side but it did work on the other side.

Looks nice, glad someone is making the blacked out headlights from the factory. I had to black mine out manually :). Definitely a good mod for a GX where the OEM lights are faded and cracked.

@CGIB did you have any of these two minor issues With your drop down table?

1) missing two bolts and nuts (included 6…should be 8) that are needed to attach the table brackets (4 holes on each bracket x 2 brackets) to the plastic barn door panel.

2) most of my stock oem white plastic clips (90467-09206) that hold the barn door panel in place were in bad shape and they didn’t hold the panel well after the table was added.

Both are minor issues and relatively inexpensive to fix. I got a little bag of bolts and nuts at Home Depot for like $2.50 and ordered 10 toyota clips for like $0.65 each.

Both minor problems are fixed. I didn’t reach out to bison gear on the missing bolts nor on my need to replace all 9 plastic clips (those are almost 20 years of age on mine).

Anyways, I thought I would let you know since you are a good ambassador for his products.

I did experience the first issue regarding missing hardware, I just found some around my shop that would work. I didn't have the second issue regarding the plastic clips, my back door panel clipped back on just fine.
