That is your missile launcher access port. There should be a button on the dashboard.

Yes, it’s a plastic plug. Haven’t gotten around to peeking under the dash.

wouldn’t there be a less obstructive place to put an antenna? Just sayin.
If they were mounting a CB they would have needed the steel cowl as the “ground plane” because the roof is fiberglass (no ground plane). Could also be amateur radio. That way it comes in right behind the radio.
Toyota put a giant hole in mine, then put stupid tube through the cabin back outside.
I'd weld that home shut and call it gone

For sure your 40 was used by a Bull Catcher in Australia, the rotating catch arm was connected there ,

Yup! It was just a nubbin to nowhere. Lawd only knows WTF bubba was thinking! Welding the hole to hell shut and moving on…
