Does anyone on here know what the idle oil pressure is for a 1HD-T with a five speed?

Its the oil pressure at 2000rpm that is important

IIRC @2000 rpm @normal operative temp 36PSI - 64PSI was the normal aceptable range per FSM

Have you done it? Standing there with engine at 2000rpm for 2 minutes is awful. My rebuilt 1HZ was getting just on 80psi the day it was started for the 1st time.
Im not sure whether the rented gauge was accurate or not.

1HD-FT manual has the following, and I assume they would be the similar for the 1HD and 1HZ. Test should be done on a fully warmed up motor.

@ idle = 29 kpa / 4.3 psi or more
@ 3000 rpm = 250 to 600 kpa / 36 to 87 psi is within spec

2000 RPM? pretty sure the book i have said its 36PIS at 3000RPM, ill have to doubble check

you were right .. guess that 2K rpm was for the 2H ..

It must have been 3000rpm. I remember it being painful
