Oil pan Compatability

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I want to make sure I have this right. For my 83 Fj60 2f, I need the updated pan that pretty much covers all years up to 89
12101-61013

And then I need the updated gasket
12151-61011

The site I'm using keeps telling me I need the 61010 gasket, but I'm guessing that only works with the original 2f pan and not the newer backwards compatible pan?

Correct. You need the new gasket with the new pan. You will also need a new drain plug and gasket.
