You don't read instructions well do you Woody. The one thing the pos instructions did say was not to tighten the first set of bolts before threading the remaining bolts. hehehe

So does the T-Max fit like a Warn w/o modification? I know your's is a 10K, do they make a 12K also? May do a little research.

12.5k is available IIRC...I modified nothing other than the standard drilling of the fairlead...all else bolted right up. (kept those loose tho....I'm not always stupid...lol)

Looks great man. You pondering any lighting?

Just curious, did you get any ARB decals with your bumper? On my first ARB bar some years ago I got a few. I got hosed on my 80 Bar decals.... Wondering if it was just me or they stopped including them. ? (I picked some up at SEMA anyway)

no additional dekels that I recall in the box, just the one that's pre-stuck

haven't considered lighting yet....not sure I will.....who knows tho....

You should put a cool sticker on that thar bumper....I dunno...maybe IH8MUD or something cool like that:flipoff2:

hehehe.....

considering the side windows of the 80 have IH8MUD screens, the rear window has a sticker, and my license plate is IH8MUD2, I think that "might" be overkill....lol

(plus, I'm outta small ones....)

which reminds me....any "good" ideas for a front license plate? Used the bracket deal last night and honestly, yuck.....outta do something since it's a WI law to have one.....

Does the supplied license plate bracket not work with the holes needed for the winch or did you just not like it?
It seemed to only fit if you put the bolts on the bottom of the plate then orienting the plate up. See my ARB install post pics for the only way I figured out how to use it. Many places in the Republic of Kalifornia will ticket you for no other reason than lack of a front plate, so I keep it on, even tho it's just a fix it ticket. PIA to take care of! Wife can get away with sob story about bastard husband or dealer not installing the front plate on her Z. She keeps it in the car to pull out just in case.

it fit fine, orientates the plate above the fairlead....IMO, it just looked like $%@...I wuz "hopin" for a better option, but that may be the only one.

if WI PD's can read your back plate, they usually let you pass....but snow somehow covers them at times and I HAVE been pulled once for it....fortunately, it was after work and not after happy hour....

This one looks interesting. Cheap as well compared to Warn.

killer!

:D

Liscence plate....IIRC D cell maglight clips can clip to your roller farilead and you can take the plate on and off when you want]
On another note....you wanna sell the med. front coils?

I've GOT a really kewl Slee sticker from my OME suspension order this past summer....

oh wait......that's right....I had to call and complain that it WASN'T in the box! (otherwise perfect service..... ;) )

(the bumper gets a LCR4WD sticker.....soon as I see Poser!)

the "pillow" one? ya huh!!

back to teh ;) - wired 'er up tonite.....pretty sure it's time for some "real" terminals and a "real" battery, but it spools in/out just fine. Got a little creative on the control box mounting, but it outta work just fine.

believe it's time for a celebratory beer.....
