Ive got a stock height 1990 4runner and loooking to get better offroad shocks. anybody know the precise entended length, collaped length, and travel that will fit underneath? Help would be good:)

I honestly get whatever's cheapest, except for Ranchos. There's cheap, and then there's getting your spine crunched through the top of your skull cheap.

I didn't know the Navy was all the way in Arizona... must be one long friggin canal.

haha alright, yeah we have a few stations out here, waiting to go to texas then to get deployed

do you think its worth it for the bilstein 5150 series with no lift?

I have 5100's, and really like them. Before I bought them I called Bilstein and talked to an engineer, as I had some questions on dampening. I also was curious about the 5150, as they had just come out with them at the time. He told me not to bother, the little remote reservoir is mostly a gimmick for looks, doesn't help at all.

yeah reserviors are really only if ur doin 80 over whoops lol, i think i will go with the bilsteins ive heard good things about them. well, i gotta wait a few weeks cuz the 3.slow just blew, 250k miles i got out of it:)

i run the ranchos, and like em just fine

I used Pro Comp 9000's on my 1992 Surf for about 200,000km's and never had a problem.

Lots of off roading and they were still going strong when I sold it.
