Thanks John. I had a tan 87 and have been missing it lately. The 40 still needs just a little work, mostly electrical (the blower switch for the fan, small stuff like that). I think the tank will need to be boiled out which is what may be causing the stalling at highway speeds. Maybe just a new stock pump and carb will fix it. I'm tired of chasing the small things. I'm really looking for a change. A Cruiser that will be able to tow a trailer and be reliable.

I like the 80's but really would like to get back into a 60. A 55 would be nice as well, as long as it was in good condition and didnt require too much work. I dont want to deal with rust anymore. Maybe I'll sell the 40 outright and save the $ until I can find one from out west with no problems.

I'm looking for a 3F-E cylinder head. I'd consider a whole engine if the price is right. Year does'nt matter.

Someone needs to buy this in NH:

Out of an 85 FJ60 but will fit in older trucks. Located in Pawtucket RI. I have a cherry picker to load into your truck. If you want it let me know ASAP and when you can pick it up. I mentioned to my buddy tonight that I want it out and his friend might come and grab it for s****. I would rather see it to someone that can use it. I just need it out of my garage as I don't have the room.

Still sitting in your yard?

If you want endless entertainment, post up your truck "for trade" on Craigslist. 2003 Saturn Vue was the best offer so far. Worst was a rusted 1993 2-door Jeep Cherokee. Plenty of asshats telling me that my truck isn't worth half of my asking price just from them looking at 3 small pictures. Frustrating yet fun at the same time.

Best quote was "looks like you painted the frame and underside but only where people could see it. There's surface rust in the other areas." Yeah, no s***, buddy. Next time I'll glob bondo all over everything and spray-paint every square inch so you have no idea what you're buying.

I have a Lincoln Pro Cut 55 plasma cutter. New was $2250, will sell for $1400. It has around 55 hours on it. I have bad eyes and while I have tried to use it the glow is too bright for me and if I use a dark screen I can't see what I am doing thus defeating the purpose of the fine instrument that it is. so I end up using other methods of cutting steel. below is the description of it and a picture. I am posting it here first then will stick it on my local CL this week end.funds from the sale will help pay for my v8 swap :)
