I have a friend that has a brand new 6" Pro Comp lift kit for a Tundra. He is willing to take $3000 for it. He says it is worth a lot more. Just wants to get rid of it.

I know it is. I see him driving it around town. I just thought it was funny searching for LC stuff it came up.

Junk.... hmmm..... you guys are making it really tough to enjoy YT lately.

My goal is to get another 40 at some point. Money is tight so I've been trading up cars for 2 years to get back into an FJ. I have 2 kids and a new business so trading is my only real option.

My old 40 is the wrong color according to past posters. My new ride is junk because it is a Ford. Muh. Wish I had time to worry about s*** like this.....

Nobody with gasoline in their soul could bash this antique art -

John took me for a ride in it an it was damn cool. I love rat rods.

John is he looking to trade? I'd be looking for something a little less molested. Unless you plan on doing a lot of wheeling.

60 ARB front winch bumper, newer style. No damage, was used for a couple of years in FL. $500. PM.

Don't need anything overbuilt necessarily. Don't need to trade at that price range as I've had high cash offers on the 29. the right deal will come along at some point. Happy with what I've got. Supposedly the Aussie dollar is going to tank soon so maybe I'll grab a troopy instead.

1960 FJ25

Every once in a while I post this for sale, mostly when I face the reality that I'll never get around to doing a resto on it.....ever. Meanwhile it mostly sits in the garage and gets driven at Fall Gathering every once in a while or when I need a winch in the yard. Other than that I just exercise it every now and then to be sure it keeps working.

Running, driving, registered, everything works. There is no rot. What little rust there was was recently replaced with a new rear sill, all metal so you can see what you've got. Mostly original, and whatever isn't I have the rare pieces (cores, rebuildable parts, new parts) to make it that way. One of the few 25's with a PTO and correct winch. Also one of the few with a new canvas top, this one happens to be a one of a kind OCD recently saturated with canvak.

In my opinion, soda blast and paint for an easy cosmetic restore, or just continue to use it as is.

Asking $9,000. If you're here and want to debate the relative value of FJ25's, I'd be glad to listen. Original extra parts included to suit your tastes. If I was worried about the cash, I'd invest the month of labor, paint, and chrome and go the ebay/auction route, but somebody here must have a passion for old Cruisers. This isn't always about money. ;)
