Not at all Jay. We all got trucks in other people's backyards, no? Tom (45 owner, local Toy dude) acquired a truck or three from Jim that are presumably in Tom's (HIS) backyard. Just an intraweb miscommunication...

And don't let Jim fool ya, although his taste for 25's is like a college kids with beer (can never have enough no matter what the flavor) his taste in 45's is that of a true wine connoisseur... Have you seen that vintners choice he's been sipping on? True perfection!!!!!! He's gotta keep a box o rags in the back to wipe up everyones drool whenever he drives it...

And I would have bought Tom's by now if I hadn't scored the long bed. :D Must have looked and thought about it a dozen times when driving by. His shorty is not a bad deal if you know what you're looking at and want to build something.

My binge buying of 25's is over, paying college tuition has cut back my spending 10x. Cruiser habit has to be self supporting for a long time. The 45 was a justifiable retirement investment. ;)

At least one of Jim's old trucks are actually in HIS backyard!!!

Headed to check it out tomorrow, if it doesn't follow me home I'll give stats to interested parties... Little birdie said its kinda rusty... Good price for a dump runner though.

So what's the word, do you have a new ride or did you pass it up?

Can't make it over till next week, gotta get the tranny in the runner before the snow...

I had a call today from a fellow in West Hartford CT looking for an early 4Runner/Toy truck solid front axle. He's looking to do a solid axle swap into an 86 truck. I don't have what he needs but thought maybe someone in the club might be able help. His name is George, phone number is 867-5309. If you have what he needs or know where he might find a solid axle give him a call. Thanks, gary S

Called, should be able to set him up Saturday, maybe take down his personal info after a while Gary. :)

Sold my ARB rack so I have this never used universal ARB awning bracket. $75 in NYC or RI. If shipped, plus shipping. I also have a barely used 4-foot ARB awning $100

Scotty looking for his and her wheeling rigs and trailers

That is kind of the plan for now anyway... at least until my old man has a chance to make the trip up from PA. He's looking for a hunting/fishing/bug-out vehicle.

Hybrid Axle Build - WTB

I want to put a LandCruiser differential into a Mini - Truck axle. I need the complete axle housing with diff to do that.

Does anyone have an FJ60 rear axle with diff for free?

FJ62 / FJ40 rear axle for cheap?

I'll pay more for something locked or with lower gears than 4:10's.

Let me know.

LC

I think he is going for the centered diff which is the plan with my 40 so I can run a Dana300. I'm going to eventually step up to tons so with this it will fit on my trailer until I can get a real tow rig and deck over trailer.

Larry FYI I don't know if you are interested in a spool but a 12 bolt mini spool will fit in a LC diff. I got mine on Amazon for around $80 shipped. Pretty cheap traction. You could always weld but this comes apart if you ever need to.
