You mean like your world lights up when you see me in the FJ Cruiser?

We are looking for a long wheelbase (170") Mercedes Sprinter van.
If you happen to see one please let us know.
Camper conversion or are you joining the American Pickers show? They can't tow much, which is the biggest downfall for me. They do get great fuel mileage, better than 25 mpg.

Found one today near me in Weare. It's a 3500 diesel, I didn't realize they ever came in that displacement, but maybe that is the model number. PM me your cell number and I can probably text the pix. It was around 150K miles and asking $9300. It's a people transporter with very dark windows (you can't see in) and a bunch of seats. Dark green, matches your 40 :)

Camper conversion. We met a German couple up in Alaska who were touring in a Sprinter that they had brought over. It was pretty sweet. We thought that it was perfect for the type of touring that we want to do.

Yup, we went and looked at it Sunday. 3500 is a 3/4 ton. Too much rust on the back end. Doors and the rear sill were shot. Plus at some time they backed into something and dented the rear sill and bumper. We'll
keep looking.

I dont think the new sprinter gets 25mpg. We have 2 at work and they only get around 17-19 mpg

45000 btu. Set up for Propane.

Got heat? Damn!

Here I have an 87 FJ60 I've owned for 3 and a half years. I bought it mostly stock and in very good mechanical condition. I have a huge folder of receipts from the previous owner. After purchasing it I did a SOA, built bumpers, sliders, regeared etc.

Off the top of my head here's what it has:

Suspension:
SOA done with the Ruff Stuff kit, C&T was performed
Trail Gear high steer
Greasable shackles and springs pins
Urethane bushings
Bilstein 5125 shocks, 14" front 10" rear
Usually sports a set of 35s, but currently its coming on some junk 32in rollers. But I might get some different tires if some come up.

Drivetrain:
Saginaw PS pump
Contour electric fans
Stainless battery tray
Awesome 0 gauge battery cables
4.11 FJ62 3rds
Lock Right in the rear
V6 4runner front calipers
The front axle was rebuilt when I did the SOA. I used Marlin inner seals

Body:
Entire cab is lined with sound deadening
Pioneer head unit
Pioneer front speakers with Kicker speakers in FJ62 cargo area mounts
Custom front bumper
Custom rear bumper
Custom rock sliders
IPF H4 headlights with upgraded harness
LED interior lighting

Overall the 60s in great shape. Very little rust on it and no rot what so ever. I have wheeled it, so it has some dings, dents and scratches. The most noticeable being on the DS rear corner. The lift gate still functions fine though. The interior is also in good shape. Carpet is clean. The drivers seat has some wear and small tears but not nearly as bad as a lot I've seen. But it runs great, drives great. Its a real awesome truck and I have no idea why I'm making this post, but it just seems like the thing to do. :meh:

Asking $7000obo
