Trying to trade for a 77 FJ40. Trading a Desoto for a Cruiser would be a big jump. Might be a few flips before I land on a cruiser.

Is this pointed to me concerning scrapping some axle housings?

Free 40 rear axles.

Free early 70's 30 spline FJ40 left and right rear axle shafts. Pick up in central CT. Housing is in the scrap pile, but these are still inside and clean, let me know if they shouldn't join the rest of the scrap.

What is a reasonable offer on a rig like this?? I've seen them on CL from $2000 and up...sometimes way too far up...

Why they selling?

Owner was in an accident and is now paralyzed. Not an accident in the cruiser. His wife has a fairly new truck of her own and no one is driving it. Reasonable offer is between you and the seller. I don't think she is looking to get much just wants it gone.
