Should we have some sign on the rigs so we know who's from SoCal80 in the 500+ rigs?

Looks like I'm going alone Fri nite without family and kids. Any other loner heading up Fri from OC that we could caravan?

I'll have a SoCal80's sign up. If you are at the main check in and looking in toward the dunes, we usually set up to the left a little inland from main camp check in.

There is no 'official' next year. This is the 10th and last year Pismojim is doing this.

So you're saying it should be a breeze, that's great to hear. I wonder what gas mileage is going to be like, I get about 10-11 now.

Worst I ever got was going up the grapevine at 8mpg.

YES! Early lunch and I need to fly back to the OC. I have a 6:45 am flight to Dallas Monday morning on my way to Chile for two weeks of work.

How do we get these flags? Saw couple folks asking same question but no answer. With 500+ rigs showing up "unoffically", all supplies may run out including the vendors onsite so I want to secure one for sure. TIA.

Be one of the first 500 to show up!

As Boyd said, plenty of vendors that sell them. If you've got a CB antenna, just get a flag and stick it to the top of that.

Damn!! I won't be able to make it, I will be in Fresno hunting. My procrastination has cost me a shot at the last SNT.

There's nothing worth hunting in Fresno but Bulldogs.

I've heard they have wicked large snipe at Pismo Beach, totally legal to hunt, kill and eat.

Looks as if I may be heading up after work Thursday, arrivng at 1 or 2 am. Low tide is a .7 at 12:38am Friday and a 4.5 ft high tide later at 7:26am. There will be plenty of folks to rescue come Saturday morning with a 5ft high tide at 7:57am and a solid swell to boot.

Hope you have room for one more volunteer at the check point Brent?
