Either of you guys have a complete (bolt on) rear driveshaft? I had mine extended by the local redneck mother f'in machine shop, had to bring it back 3 times and its still not as good as it should be.
 
adapter needed

Looking for an adapter to mate a SM420 to my stock x-fer case... advance adapters has one for around $600... any one have one nicer on the wallet? jjlinak@hotmail.com thanks

Wanted: Late model FJ40 drive line parts

I am in the process of a resto-mod on my wifes 82 FJ40. It's currently a rolling frame and a bunch of little pieces.

I am in search of the following parts:

Late model transfer case, cross member, and rear drive shaft (for use with e-brake on the rear wheels not the t-case).


I would buy an entire driveline if necessary but need the parts mentioned above at a minimum. Thanks.
 
There is a 1971 FJ40 for sale on the Fort Bragg Lemon Lot. It is black with a bkini toop.

I have never seen it before. Maybe Darin has?

The guy wants $12,000 for it!

Overall it is in pretty good shape. New paint job, bedliner in the tub, amd clean underneath. It has a shackle lift and 33 or 35's. It has a full roll cage and a tube bumper. There is a 4 spped in it with the older transfer case. The valve cover says "2F" but it has all "F" accessories on it such as the water pump, thermostat and air cleaner.

5 15x7 5 lug Jeep Cherokee rims.....decent set. nothing special. would make a good set for your off road tires. $30

We saw this FJ40 up close on Mon. when we were picking up a tire at Galloway. We were interested in it, but they were too busy trying to get the drum brakes to work to talk about selling it.
