Lemme see if I can hit the lottery this weekend. Then I'll take it to Stan for a drivetrain swap into a 60 or 80 ;)

Yeah, but it would be much more fun to go from Kenny's to your shop via VIR and Road Atlanta ;)

I never mentioned who bought it ;)

Let me start with I have an Amazing wife! From Holly Springs to Whittier it's a 4 1/2 hour drive. We are home and I have the ARB sitting in my wife's van still wrapped up in the original packing material. I didn't get home from work until 6:00. We hopped in the van and set off for Whittier stopping at Bojangles for dinner. My wife was a trooper and never complained once that a) we are buying a $650 bumper on the spot b) She would drive the first leg of 4 1/2 hours to get it. We pulled into the sellers driveway at 11:15pm. We load up the bumper, talk for a bit, and get right back on the road. I drove the 2nd leg. I love night driving and I'm a night owl. We had a few more stops for gas and drinks but got home at 5am.

I can't wait to get it installed.

BTW, the seller has a white 92 fully built with part-time front (with a E-locker 3rd to be swapped in), full float rear with E-locker, Heavys, Vortec swap, new ARB (no winch), Fox shocks, a 4x4 Labs rear coming in the mail, cloth seats with seat covers coming in the mail, practically new 35" KM2's on 17" steelies, factory roof rack and he wants to sell it. I didn't get a price from him but asked for his email address so I can follow up with him. He's said he just wants to get rid of it because he has already purchased a built 4dr Wrangler to replace it.

This was an awesome cruiser and I would love to keep it in the club.

^^Great story - had to read it to my wife and say "see hon, there ya go - the bar has been set." . . . . . OK - I didn't say anything about setting a bar, but I did read it to her :) :)

Nice going Jonathan .... more fodder for TWT. Don't forget pics.

Good deal on the bumper!! Hook her up with my wife Heather, she'll be trying to talk you into a Vortec swap in no time :)

Ooh, so Heather does Vortec speaking tours? Nice! Can she talk to Natalie about the advantages of 6.0 over the 5.3?

Well... the bumper was not so good of a deal. It was all packed up when we got it except for the front sticking out of the packaging with very minor scratches. We didn't unwrap it because we wanted it protected for the ride home. We just pulled it out and there is significantly more damage. The seller clearly didn't know about this. The bullbar has a huge dent in it and both wings are damaged. The good is that the center section is straight and the majority of the wings appear ok.
