TBD, shop opens Monday , hoping they will be kind as I am having accumulator globes done at the same time
How did it go? I just got my ‘09 from a family member a week ago and seeing how much rust is underneath it I’m going to check my lines. BTW I’ve noticed your LX on the street, I don’t live far from you it seems!

I have a stock 2020 LX. Looking at 18” evo corse with 45 offset. Can I go 285/60 18? I’m being told I could have issues.
what 'issues' are they telling you? with a 45 offset you can easily fit up to 34" tires.
If you're headed to 35s, then a 35 offset is a good target.

I’m being told tires could rub. It’s confusing because the 45 offset is pushing out the tires more than the 60 offset I have now. They are recommending 275/65 18.

I ran 275/65r18 just fine on the tundra 18” rims at offset 60. They don’t rub the uca.

Just for reference I have an Lx. The tlc has kdss and fitment are a little different because of that.

Maybe they’re referring to rubbing on the mud flaps/fender liner. Those are easily fixed problems.

Picking it up today, sounds like everything went smooth, I’ll document costs on my build thread. I’m so sad it is on the street, we are moving at the end of august so our garage is full of our stuff and the aphids are terrible this year

Offer up find - Landshark Reef drawers for 200 series. So nice. Need to add the side wings on, then carpet. And I want to stain some of it too. But we’ll see. Originally got the LX570 for my two big dogs, but one of them recently passed away. I put in these drawers after, but now we have our eye on another big dog to give our other dog a friend. So we’ll see if I need to get ride of these.

These are the E&E Off-road skid plates. They are pretty remarkable engineering. The craftsmanship feels top notch. Like every piece I was surprised at how well designed it was. They are aluminum but I’m not rock crawling. I want road and country road protection which these are perfect for. A few E&E owners have done off-roading with them and they seem to hold up remarkably well, probably because of how well designed they are. I wish he made some more stuff to add on to the vehicle but I don’t need the slim bumper he does.
