You left a part out  Seth, feel free to leave yours at home. When you sign up for the wine tasting fundraiser for RTF, you will get a stemless, polycarbonite wine glass with the TLCA and RTF Logo with the 25th annual Rubithon logo on it:cheers:

So for even the "non-wine" drinkers out there, it raises $$$ for a great cause and you get to take something super cool to the Mrs.:grinpimp: Well that and sunburn

Yep, forgot that part. Must have had to many glasses of wine!!! Oh well...........

Can you do a "last minute" sign up for the wine tasting?? Like when you're out there??
Also... If there's fire restrictions in the area, they don't make exceptions for group runs, right!?

Yes, you can sign up at the event.

As far as fire restrictions, no! You are allowed fires in official campgrounds with approved fire rings. The springs are private party and we will be having a bonfire on Friday night and a small fire on Saturday night.

Great stuff!!
I didn't think so, but wanted to ask to make sure re. The fires.
I'm glad there WILL be a fire in the springs, though!!
Love me some camp fires!!

In regards to the fire restrictions..does that also include those self contained propane powered "little red campfires". I've used them before in restricted areas an the rangers had no problem with them. Also will I get some type of proof in the mail that I am actually registered for the rubitihon? Thanks-Matt

Im not familiar with the campfire you are talking about, but they do allow the propane camp stoves for sure. They may not have called for fire restrictions up there by the time of our event. I just want people to be prepared for that. If they are still allowed, PLEASE make sure they are dead out before leaving in the morning!

Anyone that hit submit on the form, got confirmation right on the spot. I'm working on putting the confirmation letters out this weekend.

And I can tell you specifically, you are all good to go!

Big Mike,

If I want to go on your run do I need to sin up any where special?

Sal, gotta do it on the Wagon run. I'll be on that run. We'll get you through.
(put an Aussie locker in the rear real quick-like, makes all the difference in the world.)

Thanks Pighead. I'm trying to put one in now and looking into the wagon run.
I may not be able to make it that early in the week though. We'll see. I'm looking at the Friday 7 AM run, if there is a leader. Do we know yet on that aspect?

Can meal tickets be purchased down at the springs for sat night as well? I'm looking at running down cadillac on Sat for the dinner/raffle.

Better late than never, yes, Jon Bachelder has stepped up and is going to lead the 7 am run from Loon. Plan on being there well before 7. We need this run to leave right at 7 to keep them in front of Marlin's sweeper run

Don't count on it. If you know for sure you're dropping in PayPal the $15/dinner to chairman@rubithon.com Email me at the same address and let me know what dinner you want (Beef or Chicken) I will need this by Saturday if you want to be sure to be able to eat with us.

Thanks, Eric

Tic Tok, Tic Tok, you only have until Friday to get your registrations in before the registration fees go up and you will miss out on the last opportunity to win another grand prize ticket!

Not to mention, I can not guarantee your shirts will be done in time to give you them at the event after the 1st :bang:

OK... that's my cue to sign up then! I can't make it this year until Friday, so I"m going to go for it. Wish I could go in with the wagons, but with luck the 7AM friday run will be doable. Putting in a locker now and getting everything else in order. Maybe Marlin's run will have to push me out of the way.. ha!

Can I please have contact info for Jon? PM? I'm still intimidated and don't want to be THAT guy. Hope this works out and really look forward to playing.

Badcoco... please save one extra XL and two ladies LRG shirts.

The Friday run will be at a quicker pace than most of the other runs as we are supposed to be in Main Camp by 3:30p.m. That can be hard to do with a small group of drivers who know the trail, a larger group and the time frame gets longer.

I'm thinking of starting another thread for the Fri 0700 run so we can get a plan in advance in order to minimize down time. As Eric (bad coco) stated, plan on rolling on the trail by 0700 at the latest, aired down, hubs locked, paperwork done. If all rigs are present and ready to roll we will leave earlier than 0700. I plan on being at the meeting place between 0530-0600.

Eric, would another thread be appropriate, or just keep Fri run chatter on this thread?

Email is better than pm's. jonb96150@yahoo.com

Nice thing about you being the lead, you can start a thread for the run you in charge of if you like :D

Not trying to be a bugger head or anything, but I'm not taking any orders via the thread. Submit the registration paperwork to have items ordered please. Way to big of a chance of me missing something and in all honesty, too much work for me to check and keep track of many different ways to register.

If you have a hard time using the online registration on rubithon.com, you can email me at chairman@rubithon.com and I will be more than happy to email you a copy of it. Seems to occasionally have issue cooperating with Mac's for some reason.

To make sure you have a shirt in time for the event, I need it in before June 1st. After that, it cost more to attend and I can't ensure your shirt will be there for the event.

Thanks

i've tried twice to hit submit, but nuthin happens.

i'll paypal you the funds today.
do I call you family? or for services? LOL

I'll be doing the premier/updating my TLCA with it, and getting a small hoodie for my son to boot.

Look for me to be in the wagon run, and rock chef.
