Latest update on camping from Jenn at the Park;
All numbered tent and RV sites are reserved. Likewise, all of the "usual" overflow spots are full. There is still a good bit of room for overflow tent and RV parking in the upper parking lot and in the "Staging Area" just beyond the gate to the trails on the right but these areas do not offer water or electricity. The Park is no longer taking reservations for camping at this event and will offer up these areas on a first come-first served basis.
Long story short... There is a good bit of space remaining to primitive camp but you will have to show up and claim your spot working through the office when you arrive. 1st world problems...

Joe used to live in Kalifornia so he have some "preferences" which I don't condone and agree with. The really fat chicks in Hot Springs might feel loved when Joe is in town.
oooh. interesting idea. the front of kermit is done, so if it rides on the trailer backwards, there will probably be enough length for the leads from the link arc to reach the trailer for finish welding and exhaust installation. the mighty flowerstroke is a lot shorter than the dodge, and has a hotter alternator, so this might actually work.
this implies I actually install the infernal thing somewhere, rather than it sitting in an unlabelled box ... somewhere.
and naturally, we'll have to wait until we get out of california... they don't let you do anything fun here.
I'd wager the chances of this are inversely proportional to the amount of appliance repair required in the TTMFT household
probably as many as it takes until he gets slapped, then possibly one more.
