So I drove by the local Toyota dealership to take a closer look at the 2008 Salsa Red for sale.
It was SUPER clean inside and out. I mean it was immaculate. No cool box. No DVD. No headlight washers. It was really cool to see it in person. It does have brand new 20" Sequoia wheels with brand new rubber. They looked really good. Spare was still the 18" OE though, so that could be used as a bargaining chip too, to get the price even lower.
The inside smelled really nice. Baby powder, vanilla, and a hint of coconut. Like the scent of a stripper.
I didn't take it for a spin, but it looked great, especially for a 2008.
If anyone is interested, I have some contact info of the salesman I spoke to. He told me that if I could help him sell it, he'd even give me a little "Birddog Commission" for helping him. I told him it was overpriced for a truck without DVD, Cool Box, etc. and he told me he'd be happy to entertain offers.

Just got a call from Fedex! My TJM bar is ready for pickup! 1 day shipping from OH to the Local freight terminal. Took about 2 weeks from order to delivery. Cant wait to get off work!

Was a 991S (2013) owner for a couple years....great car, but the rest of the experience left me uncomfortable, especially $300 oil changes & nose in the air sales tactics. BTW most dealers treat DIY's poorly. Some refuse to reset service lights unless they do the work + some owners have been charged by the dealer just to hook up their proprietary computer to make the warning lights go away - this is on cars still under warranty.
Was I aware going in w/ the expense of Porsche ownership? Short story yes, but not being ripped off. Acura was much more user friendly.....
