Stock. So the regear and lockers moved up the list instead. CV are fine. But in park I can turn the wheels on the front end by hand. In gear open center diff only front shaft spins and it sounds horrible in the diff.
Combination of a really loud bang/ping while on the trail.. but that mystery noise was all there while driving to camp from the trail after the break

It would appear they did not. Seems like Bilstiens/Icons/Toyos must have gotten A LOT more expensive because I don't think a chrome delete costs $10k.

I would expect the wheels and tires ( if 5 of them) would have been about $2500 to $2700. Not sure about the Bilstiens.

Since I added ARB skids to my LX i started feeling the faintest vibration when moving.
When scrapping my skids today I noticed an adhesive backed rubber damper on the t-case skid. I wonder if that would make a difference:

I’m a research obsessed consumer and stumbled across this channel a while ago when I wanted to find a good portable shop-vac for the rig. Today I saw he posted a review of bed liner stuff and realized I had forgotten to post his channel up here. I think you will find lots of good info and some of you will really enjoy the work he puts into coming up with good testing methods.

For those of you that complain about the 200 seats not being comfortable. You might have a solution..
Probably a stupid question here, but has anyone tried out the black overlays for the tailgate/taillight chrome trim from eBay? I know the 4Runner guys have an option from Toyota for matte black emblem covers that just fit over the factory emblems and that's what these look like. I know paint won't be a perfect match, but for ~$200 seems like it is much more cost effective than having a body shop remove and prep/paint the trim pieces with the added bonus that it doesn't permanently change the part. Not necessarily expecting quality to be out of this world, but it seems like it could be a cheap enough experiment if it looks decent at all. These specifically:

For those that have replaced headlights already
The added bonus to this design "feature" is it makes the headlight susceptible to damage anytime any part of the bumper is impacted. On my GS, i ran over a deer (it was dead already), which gave a pretty good jolt to my front bumper. It broke off a piece of the lowest part of my bumper and ripped out the wheel / fender liner on that side. All that sucked, but what ended up being the worst part, and a thing i didn't notice until it was too late, the bumper yanking on the headlight caused the tab on the top of the headlight to pull away from the headlight and create a crack/opening at the top of the headlight. Over the next few months water managed to start slowly getting into the headlight. I didn't notice until the lower LED DRL failed. Then I had to also buy a $600 headlight.
