Canvas installed, still making adjustments to get the fit just right. Bought two new tires, mattress should be here Saturday. Just getting it ready for the overland trip to Death Valley in February.

Having camped out of one of those, I love the set up And what you can get out of such a compact unit combined with alot of additional storage space.

I miss my trailer the new teardrop that I bought is not as reliable offroad as my old trailer!
I used the trailer a few times, tracks real nice behind the truck and can't beat the queen size bed and easy setup.
Added the bed today we are getting close to done for our first trip, Death Valley.
Really digging this trailer!
Very nice, all you need is a rack in the front to carry your gas, water and ice chest. it helps alot!

What foam did you order? Is it from Foam by Mail? I have a 56" wide 2" memory foam that I used with my old RTT. I need to get something for my bigger RTT and trying to decide if I should go for broke and replace the CVT mattress. I hate those things by themselves but having two pads in the RTT is a pain because it makes it so thick.
I got the 3" lux foam HQ with Dacron wrap and cover. For my size, roughly queen mattress, it came to $300 including shipping. When I lay on my side, it feels like a bed in my home.
There is also Exped mega mat with two 30" mattresses side by side it would be the "sleep comfort mattress" for camping. I have slept 5 nights on the Exped and it is the most comfortable I have ever been when camping.

Yep, same place. I recognized the cover. Not cheap but not getting any sleep sucks even more! I keep going back and forth to building something with a layer of latex and memory foam or just one or the other. We sleep on a foam mattress at home, Leesa, and love it.
how 'tall' are those beds?
Love the foam factory, they'll basically make anything you want if you don't see it on the site, always a good price too.
I love the way it turned out, not cheap but a good product never is. Being a full figured man, I need the 6.5 feet length and firmness to sleep on my side, avoid snoring
The mattress is 3" thick plus the outside batting and the cover making it 3.5" overall. When in the trailer I can just slide up on the mattress with my butt cheek, I'm guessing 36" high.
Thanks. I meant tall like will a 6 ft tall persons feet hang off the bed?
I have the same trailer and I am slightly over 6ft and fit fine.
Mattress length is 78" long. 6'6".
