Just took delivery of the set in #123. Shipping took exactly 5 weeks to Michigan. Everything is beautiful. Mot sent me a toy FJ40 and some kewl Japanese trinkets for my daughters. I am 150% satisfied! thanks mot!

I'm glad that it only took five weeks!
I've had a shipment take as little as four weeks to CA and as long as 9-10 weeks to Texas before when shipping slowboat.

I'm glad that your kids enjoyed what were included for them!!

Glad to hear that you've got them and that you're happy with the lights! I guess you're keeping them then?

I try to do a good job with packing, especially with the slowboat orders, since they seem to take more abuse.

And about the tape, we've got the regular box tape, but I prefer using the kind with textile/strings in them for better protection. Shoud I start selling them, too?

Also, very happy to hear that you're pleased with the little extra stuff, too.

And finally, I had said so in another thread/post that I had received the good. To tell you the truth, I have not opened it yet. I'm sure I'll be happy with it though. The box seems to be in a pretty good shape! Thanks again!

Mot....do you plan on carrying these things for a while, AKA keeping some in stock....i would love a pair of the amber fogs in post #137 but it will be a long time(to long for you to hold them) before i can get them.....if only i could come to Japan...

You would be surprised how long I've held on to things before, including lights.

If it's the international shipping cost that's holding you back, let me know. We're thinking about visiting my wife's family next month. I could take them and send them from there then, or I can ship them from here at a discount rate to match the domestic US shipping.

BTW, these lights are no longer manufactured so chances are I will be seeing less and less of them. I used to get just about any large, fogs that said "TOYOTA" on them before, but now I've become more selective and go after only new, or in pristine condition.

However, at this rate I'll be stuck with a lot of these for quite a while.

Do you care if they are OEM Toyota or not?

If you don't care, then you would want to get HID lights.

All the OEM Toyota ones I have are fog lights and all the HID's I have are driving lights. So if you want fogs, then go Toyota with halogens, but if you want driving lights, then go true HID with Cibie, Hella, or Koito.

If you get multiple sets then I would consider express mailing for free or take some % off.

OEM equipment is okay but aftermarket is much better. Sounds like the HID is what I'm wanting. I guess I'll do 2-3 pairs of lights depending on the price. Not real picky about the looks just want something that I can go cruising down the trail at all hours of the night while looking like its daylight out in front of me. I'm in no hurry to get them, just sometime in near future before it starts getting too cold yet. Hit me up with a price and payment. Hopefully you do paypal.
