Trail tailor comes with bolts. I listed my trail tailor winch mount in the classifieds. Ended up going a different route. If your local to San Diego dm me. I prefer not to ship.

Do you have any close up pictures of the Trail Tailor winch plate?

Bumping from a while back. Thinking of doing something of this nature and want to hear years-on results of any problems, oblique angle pulls success/failure, longevity, how does any given fairlead force not crush the stock bumper, et cetera.

I see these off-the-shelf options:
  1. Trail Tailor. Hidden Winch Mount 100 Series
  2. RIF. Integrated winch mount frame for a factory bumper bar for Toyota LC100 Are these even real
  3. This TJM thing: https://www.autoanything.com/bumpers/77A16786A6562605.aspx Why does this look so different from the above?
Am I missing something else?

I am thinking to do hidden winch setup as well for 99LC but can’t decide which mount to use.
Harbor Freight universal mount is cheap but requires modifications
TJM one not sure if it will quite work since it is designed to work with their bumpers.
TT is expensive IMO - might as well buy bumper.
I would like to use Apex 12k winch from HF.
Perhaps I should learn how to weld :)
