OE Tool kit

I saw a under seat hard box tool kit on ebay that said it was OE. Did they start doing this insteat of the tool kit wrap bag in the rear? What year did this start? Or is this not a real OE item?

Those are OE on the GX470. Resides on the back door, I believe.

Hindged case is a lexus ls400/ls430.. gx uses a two tab sloted job with a color matching cover

This is the same case as I have in my '95 LS. Although this is the first time I see one with a flashlight. Of the two LS's I've owned, the PO's always took out the little Lexus flashlight before selling the vehicle.
