No chopping. Other than the rocker panels... and maybe the bottoms of the rear quarter panels like I did Cattywampus. But it's gotta be a daily driver for now.
creeper pic this mornings at the walmarts

trying to find some 345's.... I REALLY wanna roll 37's like WHOA!
But the KM2's seem to be unobtainium in that size, so I'd hate to get them and then cut one or two, or three and then not be able to find spares...

HF has the 12K winch on sale again this month for $299.... think it's about that time.

@Intern22 bought one a few months back and I can't wait to get me one as well!

bumpstops fix errythang! With big enough bumpstops... You could eliminate springs! LOL. I obviously wouldn't do that... But I witness some buggy's riding around on their $500 air bumpstops a lot.

Sweeet i got tagged in a post ha! Looks great! cant beat the HF for 299. ill make a meeting or 3 once the new addition arrives. Ill get you some pics and measurements asap

Guess I better throw these units on Mulligan.

Needs that rear locker in ASAP! Puttin' on a smoke show to get up this rock this past weekend at Morris Mtn

:chuckle: It does look like it's coming from the tailpipe... but alas! That's just one tire on the rear and one tire on the front smoking them

^^^ WOW... just WOW!

Somethings you can't unsee....

So, I rebuilt one side of the front axle today. LOL. My back and left leg hurt SO BAD that it was all I could do. Hope to get the driver side done soon.

Also, @ClankBang I stopped by 'Sounds Great' last week and told them, I'd buy a head unit and pay whatever else needed if they could figure out the pig tail/power issue. Dropped it off the next day and he called before lunch to tell me they had solved the issue. Turns out, the two front speakers were grounding out the power... So new plastic rings on them, and VIOLA! I gots a radio!

And another "oh yeah..."
last week, went to get my dinner and heard a gawd-awful grinding. Like two midgets in the backseat scrubbing!
backed up outta my spot when leaving and the rear locked up. I Immediately knew what the issue was. limped home. Ordered rear rotors and pads for in-store pickup and texted my mechanic friend. He said he'd throw them on the next morning.

Here's the damage: a stuck "single piston" design... was psuhing on one side, prolly for years... the pad got so small, it fell out and into the wheel. I've seen this before on the rear 80-series single piston calipers. a slide-rail gets seized...

BTW... that piston damage was from roughly 10 miles of driving and NOT using the brakes... only when it was a MUST... so be warned!

Installed:

Got them Slee Castor Plates:

BECAUSE the blue bushings did this in less than a week:

Luckily I still had a set of arms with the OEM bushings to use the plates.

Huge thanks to @Intern22 for his garage this morning! Hopefully he'll get that lift sooner than later and I can help him!

I've heard that the originals did do that. Sam sent me these as a freebie he had gotten from some place, they looked black when I installed them. LOL. I woulda figured that the originals had all been gotten rid of. No worries. I did not pay anything for them, so I bought the plates from Christo. We all good now. I'm raising the front end another inch to account for the 4" lift the plates need.
