Looking great!

Finished up the heater resto today. Once I picked up the tub I couldn't bear to leave it...just stayed at the shop and worked from there.

Blower Motor Before and After, also tested all the motor, replaced the internal fan blade before reassembly.

Redid the heater box also, all that's left is a new core, which is on backorder.

Bought a heater resto kit for $30 from a mud member, new screws, nylon, foam, etc.

that thing is gonna look great at the car show.

Awesome!! Impressed, invious, and in love (witrh the detail and color)

This weekend's very ambitious list, which MIGHT be possible because LSU isn't playing, Saints are tonight, starting at 2:00 tomorrow, and family is out of town until Monday:

1. Pull both axles, inspect, change all seals, re-install, new fluids.

2. Install Poser RDB conversion kit, calipers (87 monte carlo), etc.

3. New rotors on front wheels.

4. Clean/rebuild existing Warn hubs.

5. Paint all misc pieces necesary from above.

6. Remove all broken bolts, etc, from captive nuts on underside of tub

7. Spray bottom of tub with Raptor coating.

8. New body mounts, attach tub to frame.

All on literally zero experience. Chances of getting all the above done? 2 in 10.

Do number 6 last, so you will actually accomplish some of the other stuff. ; )
Ya get experience by doing it.. Just make sure everything is good n tight.

Got as far as I can go until parts get here.

Cleaned and painted all the shields up front. New rotors.

Cleaned up rear diff cover and painted, new hardware. Hubs cleaned up and ready for disc brakes.

Think I'm gonna go ahead and do all new wheel studs while I'm at it.

Got her stood up tonight, ready for Raptor undercoating over the weekend.

Really hoping to re-join to the chassis next week.

Got the undercoating on the tub this morning, turned out great.

Used POL Raptor, and I have to say, it was a piece of cake. Stuff went on smooth and covered well. Texture is great too.

You are welcome. I'm glad you can use it.

I pulled it when I installed my OBA system. The air tank was easier to mount with it gone.

Not to mention it had no rust which was inconsistent with the rest of the GunRunner...
