The November trail ride is China Wall.

We'll meet at the Alta convenience store (formerly a Western) on Highway 24 near Crystola (south of Woodland Park) between 8 and 8:30am.

Depart Alta convenience store at 8:30, drive 24 West to Lake George, then north on Colorado 77 (toward Tarryall).

I’ll try to make this one.

This was a great day trip, thanks to the guys who came out! We had nine rigs--one 60, three 80s, a GX, a Tacoma, one Cherokee XJ, one Wrangler LJ, and one Wrangler JK.

We entered 212 on the north side; snow and packed ice on the north-facing sides and in the shadows. We climbed up the rocky obstacle and then down through the rocky "sluice", and then on down to China Wall itself. We had lunch north of that, down along the river (new Forest Service barrier post & cable fencing to restrict travel has been erected down there). We found the trail in good condition and remarkably clean (very little litter). After 2pm we exited on the south side.
